Breakthrough Product that Changes People Lives for Better

By Dr. Grazyna Pajunen

Jusuru Life Blend - what is it?

Jusuru Life Blend is a patented liquid supplement for healthy aging. It contains three major ingredients:

1) Patented Biocell Collagen that consists of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed collagen and chondroitin sulfate

2) The secret behind the "French Paradox" called Resveratrol

3) 13 super fruits

The famous orthopedic surgeon, pioneer in joint replacements, Dr. Louis Brady's statement about Jusuru Life Blend:
Dr. Louis Brady's statement

Louis P. Brady, MD is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine and Board certified in Orthopedics. He is an Associate Clinical professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He is a pioneer of total joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Louis Brady:

"The genius of this company is the fact that they took three world class scientifically proven products and put them into one delicious drink. All three of them synergistically make the work better than each of them would alone. On top of that today the company introduced this chewable product. I am not sure if you have thought about it or not, but 100% of what you put into your month is going into your blood stream and this chewable product, I think, is the best one yet.

I got interested in this product as an orthopedic surgeon because it was apparently doing what we were trying to do with hyaluronic acid injected into joints. The results that I have seen and what it has done for the joints are truly remarkable. The way it works with joints is as follows. We have to understand that the blood supply to our cartilage ceases at the age about 16 - 18, because our growth centers close. At that point for the rest of our lives 100% of the nourishment of the cartilage depends on the quality and the amount of the synovial fluid that is present in the joint. What is synovial fluid? Synovial fluid is the hyaluronic acid, collagen and the chondroitin sulfate. When we drink Jusuru Life Blend, we are improving the quality of it in our joints. That is why we are beginning to see it as improvement of joints function, relieve of pain, increase of mobility and other wonderful things that we are experiecing. It is becoming increasingly apparent that we are seeing joints get better and wrinkles to go away. Since our body is primarily made up if these three elements hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and collagen, I suspect it is doing the same thing to every part of our body. That's why I am willing to make a statement that this is the most remarkable product to have ever been introduced for joints and aging process. "

More and more people use and love Jusuru Life Blend and experience amazing results. Here is what Alan and Vanessa has to say about their experiences:

Mr. Alan Fiers from Palm Beach Shores, FL :
Alan\'s testimonial

"When I was in collage I played football with Ohio State. I had a bone chip in my left shoulder and I had some pain in this shoulder from time to time. Then five years ago the bone chip cut my rotator cuff when I was lifting weights. This caused a very strong pain for about 5 months, but later it became bearable. About 2 years ago I injured my shoulder again during my slalom water skiing accident. And this time the pain was excruciating and I lost control of my left arm. I could not lift anything. I could not drive a car. In order to lift this arm I needed a help of my other arm. The doctors told me that the only solution is a total shoulder replacement, but then I would not be able to water ski anymore, and this was not an acceptable solution for me. Fortunately, our neighbor told me about this "snake oil" that can fix my shoulder. I did not believe her, but I had no other option. I decided to try it. She told me I needed to use it for at least 3 months. The first month I did not notice anything. During the second month the pain was bigger, but the third month it started to release. Now I am practically pain free. I can do chin-ups and I have a total control of my arm. I am not sure if this product will work for you, but I definitely worked for me and it is really worth to try it"

Mrs. Vanessa Hewko from North Palm Beach, FL :
Vanessa\'s testimonial

"My name is Vanessa Hewko. About 5 years ago I had a very severe joint pain in my toes specifically because of all the years of dance in point shoes. I had all of the cortisone shots that the doctors would give me. I also tried the Synvisc. It was very, very painful and it did not work. I ended up giving up all my beautiful high hill shoes to my daughters and about 4 months later I was introduced to Jusuru Life Blend. I started on the product and after about 3 months I was totally pain free. I was wearing high hills ever since."

Counting Calories Vs Counting Macros Which Is Better For Weight Loss

By Russ Howe

When you are trying to lose weight, you will inevitably come across the debate of counting calories versus counting macronutrients.

Yes, macros are the fitness world's new buzz word.

But does counting your macros really matter to weight loss? Or can you still bank on results so long as you lower your daily calorie intake?

In today's post, we will take a look and establish the facts.

Weight Loss Tips That Work

If you are new to the fitness world, you may be unfamiliar with macronutrients in general. This is the term used to describe the food groups you consume. There are three groups in total - protein, fat and carbohydrates. Each group does a different thing.

1. What Is Protein Used For?

Protein is the most important macronutrient for building lean muscle tissue. So it's no surprise that most people who go to the gym supplement their diet with protein shakes, right? But protein also serves the purpose of speeding up your metabolism, helping you to burn more fat throughout the day.

Suffice to say, protein should be a mainstay in your diet and considered your macro of choice when looking for a snack throughout the day.

2. What Is Fat Used For?

Much like protein, fat plays an important role in the muscle building process. You see, without the correct levels of testosterone and cortisol in the body, we could eat as much protein as we wanted and train as hard as possible only to see lackluster results. Fat is responsible for regulating these hormones, so don't ignore it.

3. What Do Carbohydrates Do?

It's no longer the year 2000, so you need not fear carbs like the plague. Despite the fact that the early years of the millennium were plagued with bogus science that claimed carbohydrates would lead to greater fat storage around the midsection, modern science clearly demonstrates that carbohydrates are a vital food group in a healthy diet. Further still, they provide you with your body's preferred source of energy, so cutting carbs from your diet is a bad move.

So I encourage you to discard the many myths surrounding carbs. None of them are correct.

So now that you know the roles played by each food group, is counting your macros enough to lead to weight loss? Or do calories still matter?

Despite the fact that counting macros is very popular, your calorie intake is still the deciding factor.

By getting the right amount of each macronutrient, you will undoubtedly experience a better response to your training and it is a good way to boost the results of your diet. But your calorie intake is still the bigger picture.

If you are eating too many calories per day, you will not lose weight.

Day to Night Yoga for Better Sleep

by Nina
Buddha in My Garden
by Michele Macartney-Filgate
This morning I was talking with Bonnie Maeda, RN and Shari Ser, PT about the workshop we’re going to be teaching on yoga for sleep disorders at the Berkeley Yoga Room, Saturday, June 16, from 2 to 5 (see here for registration information). When I described my 24-hour approach to practicing yoga for better sleep to them, they were very enthusiastic. So I'm going to share it with you today.

Yes, yoga in general is relaxing, but some poses are more relaxing than others while some poses and practices are actually quite stimulating. So if you’re having trouble sleeping, I recommend you plan out your day regarding which poses you do when. I mean, if you’ve been suffering from insomnia, you wouldn’t drink a double espresso right before bed, would you? Standing poses, backbends and vinyasa flows can be almost as stimulating, so a strong practice including those poses done just before bed can keep you awake (trust me, I've tried it). But those poses help keep you strong and flexible, as well as reducing stress by releasing physical tension from your body, so you wouldn’t want to eliminate those poses entirely from your practice. On the other hand, there are relaxing practices you can do right in bed either before sleep or in the middle of the night that will help you fall asleep more quickly and sleep more deeply. Here's how to plan out your day:

Day Time

Getting exercise is important for improving your sleep. So during the day, walk, run, swim, cycle, or do a strong yoga practice that includes forceful, stimulating poses, including standing poses, backbends, twists, and/or Sun Salutations and vinyasa flows.

Early Evening
After work or in the early evening, if you’re up for practicing, it’s best to do poses and practices that calm your nervous system, such as forward bends, inverted poses, and restorative yoga. Meditation, Relaxation pose with a mental focus, and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) are also good stress reducers. If you want to use a guided relaxation, see the Relaxation Tracks tab on at the top of the blog. From this point on it’s best to avoid the simulating poses and practices.

Before Bed

Turn off the TV early or put your book down, and take some time before you get into bed for conscious relaxation. Switching your nervous system from fight or flight to relaxation mode before getting into bed will help you fall asleep more quickly and sleep more deeply. Supported inverted poses, such as Legs Up the Wall pose, Easy Inverted pose (see here), and Bridge pose with straight legs, will calm your nervous system. Some people also like to meditate or practice seated breath awareness before getting into bed.

In Bed
For people suffering from insomnia, just getting into bed can trigger a new bout of stress. If you find your thoughts are racing and you are worrying about falling asleep, you can practice a body scan (Relaxation pose with a mental focus), where you conscious relax various parts of your body. Or you can work with your breath, either practicing general breath awareness or any form of pranayama that lengthens or emphasizes the exhalation. Practicing conscious relaxation before falling asleep will help you sleep more deeply. See my post Yoga You Can Do In Bed for more information on yoga you can do before falling asleep.

In the Middle of the Night
All of us insomniacs are familiar with the terrible moment in the middle of the night when we realize we’re wide awake and the possibility of returning to sleep feels hopeless. However, the worst thing you can do is lie there worrying about not falling back to sleep. Instead, return to the same practices you do before falling asleep, such as Relaxation pose with a mental focus, breath awareness, or extending the exhalation. Although it takes some discipline to focus on these practices (for some reason, worrying seems so much easier in the middle of the night), many people, including me, find that 10 to 20 minutes of practice allows us to fall back into a deep sleep.

Some practitioners I know do soothing poses in the middle of the night, such as supported forward beds (in bed with pillows) or even Legs Up the Wall pose. You can try this if seems appealing; just make sure you move slowly, stay warm, and keep the lights as low as possible. You could even play a guided relaxation track at this point. Again, see my post Yoga You Can Do In Bed for more information.

Morning
Good morning! I hope you slept better last night. Now, if you feel like gently stimulating your nervous system by moving with your breath, doing a few standing poses, or even doing a full yoga practice, go for it!

Milford Walk In Clinic Offers Better Option For Health Care

By Cathy Mercer

In medical care, urgent care clinics are relatively new. The services they offer can fill the gap between one's primary care physician and the emergency room. Their lower cost than a visit to the ER makes them a preference of insurance companies and these companies reward patients by allowing them to pay the same co-pay as they would at the doctor. Such clinics are a good choice when vacationing away from home, if one's primary care physician is not available for several days or if a person does not have a primary care physician. For many new to an area, the Milford walk in clinic is an option to get the care they need.

Urgent care facilities allow patients to receive the treatment they need if they can be safely transported in a private vehicle. The facilities offer treatment without the need for an appointment. In most cases, the wait time is shorter than at an ER and one can receive non emergency care immediately.

These medical care facilities were created to provide care for people with minor injuries and illness. It was hoped they would help to reserve emergency rooms for those who had suffered injuries or illness considered life threatening. They have helped with this. They are also often open after the normal medical clinics close and provide the care patients need in order to get better.

There are many benefits to patients of these facilities. They are seen by a doctor and treated in much less time than if they were to make a visit to the local emergency room. Insurance providers appreciate the reduction in costs and most of the time, the patient is only responsible for the normal co-pay he or she would make for a visit to a primary care provider. There is no appointment necessary.

Patients should consider this type of facility as an alternative to the emergency room for many conditions. They are ideal if one's primary care physician is unavailable or if one does not have a primary care physician. For many individuals, the convenience of these facilities makes them worthwhile.

Patients can expect to receive help for any nonemergency medical need. Most of these clinics have x-ray machines, work with labs and provide sutures. They offer a wide range of services that one would find in any other medical facility.

In some cases, patients may still need the services of an emergency room instead of urgent care. In general, if the patient has fainted or remains unconscious, has difficult breathing or suspects he or she is having a heart attack or stroke, he or she should be transported to the ER. Like one's local doctor, these facilities are simply not prepared to handle such emergencies. Other reasons to go to the ER include sudden serious injuries caused by accident, such as a car crash.

When you need to see a doctor, but the condition is not serious enough for the ER, a Milford walk in clinic may be the best option. The facility allows patients to be seen by medical personnel that can provide the care needed. The option is less costly than a trip to the ER but more accessible than most primary care physicians.

Three Happy Endings Yoga for Better Sleep

by Nina
Flowers in the Shade by Brad Gibson
My friend Liz has a chronic disease but she takes great care of herself. She eats a healthy diet, and, when she is up to it, takes long walks and yoga classes at her neighborhood yoga studio. Because she has sleep problems, she recently decided to start practicing yoga at home as well, after she comes home at night. “It works!” she told me happily. “I sleep like a baby after doing yoga.” Today I decided to ask her what kind of yoga she does, and she said something very interesting. “It depends on what time I get home.” She went on to explain, “If I get home around 6:00 pm, I’ll do some flow yoga, with poses like Warrior 1, 2, and 3, and Half Moon pose. But If can’t practice until 8:00 or 8:30, that’s counter productive.”

“That makes perfect sense to me,” I said.

“Really?” Liz looked intrigued.

“Yes,” I explained. “Standing poses and vinyasa yoga are stimulating to your nervous system. When you stand up, your blood pressure has to rise to keep the blood pumping up toward your head. So if you do stimulating poses too close to bedtime, it’s going to be hard to go to sleep soon afterward. It’s like drinking a cup of coffee too late in the day.” Then I asked her what kind of poses she does if she can’t practice until 8:00 or 8:30.”

“Legs Up the Wall pose,” she replied. “And Shoulderstand and Plow pose. I also like to do that restorative yoga pose where you lie back on a bolster with your knees apart and the soles of your feet touching.”

“That’s perfect!” I said. “The first three are inverted poses, which automatically trigger the relaxation response. These are exactly the poses that are best to do right before bed to help you to sleep better. And that restorative pose is Supta Baddha Konasana or Reclined Bound Angle Pose, and it’s one of the most soothing and relaxing restorative poses.”

I went on to tell her that this is exactly the way I teach yoga for better sleep. It is important to get exercise during the day, but any vigorous exercise, including yoga, too late in the day can be over stimulating. So if you are having sleep problems, this is something you should consider when you are planning your day. Do your vigorous exercise, including standing poses, flow yoga, and backbends, earlier in the day. And try doing inverted poses, forward bends, or restorative yoga in the evening before bed to see if they help improve your sleep.

There’s no hard and fast rules, however. Liz discovered the best times for herself to practice vigorous versus relaxing yoga by experimenting. And the only way for you to find out the best times for yourself is by going through a similar process. However, I can tell you that if you take a nighttime yoga class and have difficulty sleeping afterward, when you come home, instead of getting right into bed, try practicing your favorite calming pose first and see if that helps.

Liz improving her sleep by practicing yoga at home is just one of the happy endings to this story. The second happy ending is that she made her home yoga practice her own by experimenting, observing, and coming up with her own yoga solutions that suited her particular needs and concerns. That, I told her, is advanced practice.

The third happy ending is that I asked Liz for her permission to write about her today, and she said yes. Thanks, Liz!

Is Cardio Better Before Weights Or Afterwards

By Russ Howe

There are many questions in the fitness world which cause much confusion. If you were to ask ten fitness instructors for tips on how to lose weight, it's likely you'd get several very conflicting answers. Today's question in focus is this - should you do cardio before or after weights?

The facts behind this question are very clear so today you will discover the answer.
The video today will explain whether you should do cardio before or after weights in the gym.

Let us begin by looking at the most common myth associated with this question. Many people believe that by doing cardiovascular exercise before resistance training you will leave your muscles zapped of strength and restrict your ability on the weights, therefore it would make natural sense to go with hitting the weights first and doing your cardiovascular activity at the end.

This particular belief stacks up well from a common sense point of view, but when you look at the latest scientific research available you will be surprised at the findings.

You see, in order to get to the bottom of this popular gym myth we have no choice but to look at things on a scientific level. The body makes several noteworthy changes during your time on the gym floor, some of which are hugely important in answering this question. The first of which is m-TOR release.

This is the enzyme responsible for signalling the start of the muscle building process after a heavy weights session. It is not uncommon to see this name on the front of various protein supplements, which all claim to cause an increase in m-TOR release to help you build more lean muscle after a hard workout. The body increases m-TOR for up to six hours after a resistance workout, making it easier for you to build lean muscle temporarily.

During aerobic activity, such as a bike or treadmill, the body adapts by releasing an enzyme called AMPK.

Ready for the controversial bit? AMPK release kills m-TOR dead in it's tracks!

So jumping on a bike for 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise after a workout might sound good in theory, but in truth you are doing more harm than good to your chances of building rock hard lean muscle any time soon. The increase in your AMPK levels will do significant damage to the increased m-TOR you created by hitting the weights, rendering your session only half as great as it could have been.

It is also worth noting that several studies have looked into just how much pre workout cardio can zap the muscles of strength, too. One study tested this theory by having subjects do a tough aerobic session followed by a bench press and squat session. The cardio only affected the squats, which prompted the conclusion that you can get around this issue by simply avoiding cardio activity before leg day - this allows you to get the full benefits of cardio without missing out on the full benefits of the spike in m-TOR brought about by a heavy weights session.

Learning how to lose weight can be a confusing path, with many conflicting opinions often causing confusion along the way. The next time somebody asks should you do cardio before or after weights, you can help the with the latest scientific research rather than gym myths.

Tips To A Better Riding Experience In Ziplining

By Olive Pate

Due to the fact that there are now convenient means to travel from one place to another as well as easy ways to earn money even while traveling, a lot of people go to top travel destinations without hesitation. They can enjoy the offered thrills and excitement at these places. They can see lots of tourist spots there.

There are also attractions that become the representative experience at certain destinations. When you are going to places that are near nature, you will most likely see attractions such as ziplining in San Diego. This is a thrilling attraction that lets you zip through from one high point to another point while being suspended by a line.

The said thrilling attraction should be worth every ounce of a person's energy. It can raise one's heartbeat due to fun excitement. To have a memorable experience during the said attraction, it will be good to remember a few tips on that. Here are the important tips to remember when a person has plans to enjoy the said attraction.

First, be attentive to your guide. The guide will be the one to brief you about what to do when you are up on the air. It is the guide who will be the most concerned about your safety. Whatever your guide says is the law. If you do not listen to your guide, your safety and even your entertainment will be compromised.

Wear sneakers if you do not want to get off this ride barefoot. With sneakers, you do not have to worry about losing one of your pair while in the middle of the ride. You can fly through the air with your sneakers. Those who wear slippers while flying usually suffer from having their footwear fly away from them.

The clothes you wear during the said experience will also contribute to how well you can enjoy the experience. As much as possible, you should dress up in form-fitting clothes. If you are dressed like that, then the guide can assess your form properly and he or she should be able to dress you up with the right gear for the said experience.

Pick out what helmet to use in flying. The guide will give you a choice of helmets you can wear. Try them out and pick the one that actually fits well with your head. The size should be correct so that you do not have to always think about it flying off while in flight. This can also ensure your safety better.

Another safety gear you will be required to wear when you are going for the ride is your gloves. Make sure that you choose to wear the gloves that fit you. The gloves should fit well since you need to have an easier time grasping the harness properly, especially when you are slowing down and coming to a stop.

This is a leisure activity so you should have fun. If you want to make the most of the money you spend for the zipline ride, then you have to enjoy the experience. Be brave to look around you when you are zipping through the line. Take in the view of nature. If you are courageous enough, then this should be an experience worth your while.

Motivate Weight Loss For A Better Life

By Leslie Ball

It can sometimes be very difficult to consistently have the determination and willpower it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are many reasons why a person may want to motivate weight loss. Here is a look at some of those reasons.

Losing weight is first and foremost a health issue. As such, many people decide that they are ready to shed those extra pounds as a matter of being healthy and most importantly, staying alive. Sometimes, a simple visit to the doctor is all it takes to realize that being overweight or even obese is a huge threat to the quality and length of one's life.

For some people, something extreme has to happen in order to spur on a lifestyle change. This sometimes is an illness of some sort, like heart disease or diabetes. The news of such illnesses can be real blows to the psyche and as a result, people often begin to exercise and eat better in order to be more fit.

Sometimes, the reasons for wanting to lose extra fat can be purely aesthetic. Many aspire to have a particular kind of body and look a certain way. There is nothing wrong with this when the correct measures are taking to drop the pounds in a way that is healthy and lasts long term.

Kids are always a great reason to get healthy and lose fat. Our children are dependent on us for quite some time and they need us to not only be around but to also be able to keep up with their busy lives and active nature. Exercising as one family unit can be a great way to bond with one's family and stay healthy at the same time.

If you are newly engaged or thinking about getting married, perhaps you and your partner can make a pact about losing weight together. It's a great way to make sure you look and feel great on your wedding day. Even better, however, is the chance to start on this journey knowing you have someone you can lean on and also provide support to who is going through the same thing.

When coming up with a plan to lose weight, it's important to consult with a professional. This could be a general physician or dietician, as well as a personal trainer at the gym. All of these experts will be able to come up with a suitable diet and exercise plan that is tailored to the individual. They will also be able to map out a proper schedule for certain types of exercise and regular check-ins to ensure that everything is on track.

Those looking to lose extra pounds and fat really need to understand that it is a lifestyle change that they are making. As such, there is no quick fix and there will be many bumps in the road. However, with the right motivation and determination, as well as the right support system, absolutely anything is possible.

Laser Tag Guidelines For Better Plays

By Olive Pate

Stress and pressure are two things that can consume a person and make him or her non functional. In these conditions, you must remember to take a break. There is no need for you to go on vacations because it can be quite expensive. Instead, look for activities that can be done without going someplace else. There are surely many activities that can be done for relaxation purposes.

Certain activities became more enjoyable because of new technological features. Each place can boast their own stuff. In San Diego, California, there is one activity that is increasingly becoming more famous. Laser tag Chula Vista is one activity that is being done by most people. It is a fun way to interact with others and be entertained. The good thing is that it is also not very common.

More than the action that you are going to experience, you will also have to think hard for the entire game. It needs proper strategy. Whether you play it on your own or you decide to go in with the entire group, you still have to apply strategies for it so that you can win.

One thing which you can see as the most prominent feature is the good usage of technology. You can choose between using an indoor arena or the outdoor ones. Establishments that have outdoor options have to make use of high powered beams and more advanced technology to counter the broad daylight.

You will have several options regarding the things to choose from if you decide to do it. The pattern of the games are slightly different from one another and the things you must accomplish would differ as well. Through the various choices, it provides more challenges for most.

To have a good experience, there are several pointers that you have to always put in mind. You must be prepared before you enter the arena. Comfortable clothing and footwear is a must. Sandals and high heels are not prohibited. But for you to make the most of the experience, you have to be able to move around without being restricted.

Colored outfits might not be the perfect thing to use for things like these. Experts say that you should be wearing dark colored ones to avoid being spotted easily. UV lights usually reflect and increase visibility when the color is not dark. Once you are spotted, you will no longer participate during the entire game or it might render you useless for several minutes.

Before entering, stock up on water. The game can last for several hours if you want it to. The entire environment would be very hot and you will sweat a lot as well. If you like to enjoy these things more, you must be well hydrated.

Once you get on the establishment, there will be people who will assist you. The basic guidelines will be introduced as well as the safety rules that must be followed during the entire game. This will also help you stay longer in the game and tag more players.
